I've been repairing shoes, boots, and vintage accessories for over 30 years.  Nowadays, it's hard to find these services.  So I built this website to offer shoe repair service on-line.  I have been running my store successfully online for over three years.  I have done very well, and met a lot of really great people.  I did just about every kind of repair imaginable. I pride myself on doing a first class job for all my customers, whether it be resole jobs, broken heels, shoe repair, boot repair, zippers, purses, hand bags, briefcases, leather garments, backpacks, and wallets, leather tailoring,  and so much more than I can remember!  It has been a very good career for me, but now I feel that it is time to move into a new direction...

WHY?

For several reasons, primarily because I am not getting any younger and 35 years of shoe business has worn my hands out. And 35 years of anything is plenty!  I also am working on some new businesses, using my communication and networking experience to venture into a new career.  Do not worry, I will continue to operate this website, in a new way, to offer quality advice to people looking for shoe repair services Through the New Shoe Forum,  as well a offer a quality local shoe repair shop business directory, to help my friends and customers find the services they need locally. In addition, The shoe shop supplies pages have been updated, in an easier to use format, and links to some great products, as well as a shoe shopping center to find the shoes you need to complete you wardrobe!   And I will offer a total new service, geared toward business people:  A service to provide valuable time tested consultation and training for budding entrepreneurs who want to launch a career in the shoe repair and cobbler business.
